Borggaard Hockey School Background:
BHS director Andrew Borggaard has a degree in Exercise Science and over 40 years of hockey experience on his resume. A
Massachusetts High School All-American standout, Andrew led Tabor Academy to a New England Prep School Div. 1 Championship.
Andrew was also a member of Team Massachusetts representing the top high school players in the U.S National Tournament. Andrew's
further success led him to earn a Division 1 scholarship at UMASS Lowell in Hockey East. After college Andrew then played
among the world's greatest hockey players in the Professional ranks. While a professional hockey player Andrew played for
several NHL organizations skating in their farm systems. Today, Andrew spreads his knowledge and wisdom learned over the many
years from NHL coaches and from skating with players who are in the NHL today.
Andrew has been involved with the Worcester Junior Sharks , Providence Capitals , Worcester Jr Crusaders, Junior Railers,
Minuteman Flames, and NCAA Worcester State University. For the past few years Andrew has been hired to run local organizations
skills clinics throughout the season along with offering private lessons to players throughout Massachusetts.
Andrew's recent roles have been Director of Learn to Play hockey/ Mosquitos, Mite travel , Mite Elite AAA , Squirt Elite
AAA , Pee Wee Elite AAA , NCAA Assistant coach.

Marc Busenburg- former AHL player with Worcester Sharks
and Hershey Bears
Lance Brady- former Worcester Icecat, ECHL all-star,current
college coach at Asumption college
Shawn Heaphy- former Worcester Icecat , NHL
experience with Calgary flames
Mike Myers- Assumption college, ECHL, and current Director
of Youth Hockey for Worcester sharks
Bryan Roux- Nichols College, semi-pro in MAHL
